Naval Station Great Lakes
The No Dough was held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at the Great Lakes Community Center in North Chicago (it could not be held in the USO space on the base because the kitchen there is under construction.)
Christine Walker organized the event.
Nine Dames participated: Mary Carter, Christy Coon, Chris Gretchko, Freddie Hayes, Karen Holmes, Laura Koh, Phoebe McMillan, Virginia Noble, and Christine Walker.
One Candidate participated: Diane Eubanks.
Tom Gorman, husband of Dame Lindsay Gorman, was also cheerfully on hand to provide additional volunteer support.
Welcome back to Chris Gretchko, our prior Patriotic Service chair. She moved to Texas but now has returned to Wilmette. The Illinois Society is so glad to have her with us again!
Karen Holmes’ son is stationed at Naval Station Great Lakes. He had a class and did not attend the No Dough.
The meal was from Texas Roadhouse.
