On November 18 Mary Fields hosted the Fall Wine and Cheese party at her lovely home in Northbrook.  Queue the drumroll :  we had an outstanding turnout of 40 guests — Dames, candidates, prospective members and husbands. To all who attended, we appreciate the camaraderie and warmth.  To hostess Mary Fields:  thank you for your inspired hospitality, a wonderful start to the holiday season.

A highlight of the party is the welcoming of our new members:  Kim Cohen, Priscilla Depree, Judy Dold, Mary Ginn, Sarah Alger, Anne Krauss and Ellen Waller.  Present at the party were Kim Cohen and Anne Krauss, who were introduced and presented with our gift of logo napkins, “There is Nothing Like a Dame.”  In addition to the new members, we had five prospective members attend, three of whom are now candidates.  In all, it was the place to be for a Dames’ afternoon of food, wine and conversation — and the husbands were even able to enjoy watching the football game!
