We’re Calling It: The Summer Social Lunch at Chicago Yacht Club is the Dames Hit of the Summer!
At this year’s Summer Social 42 guests gathered — that’s an impressive figure, rivaled only by the Dames decibel count as afternoon chatter and laughter unfolded over lunch at the Chicago Yacht Club.
In a nod to the Dames penchant for genealogy, guests gamely discovered lineal connections that only added to their delight. Using the fun Relatives Around Me feature in the FamilySearch Family Tree app, guests could tell how they were related to anyone sitting nearby. Have you ever sat in a room full of people and wondered if or how you might be related to anyone in your proximity? This was a peak Dames moment of discovery when new cousin connections were found.
