Wine and Cheese Welcome Party

Cheers to the warmer weather: it’s almost summer again already! We all deserve a little something for making it through the winter, so Illinois Dames and their guests gathered at the elegant lakefront apartment of Carol and Mack Trapp to celebrate, congratulate and welcome our newest Dames. The Society welcomed Mrs. James R. Blum (Betsy Brace); Ms. Christy Coon; Mrs. James P. Dorr (Nancy Elizabeth O’Brien); Ms. Kathleen Fox (Kathleen O’Connor); Mrs. James W. Kyle (Julia Abele), and Mrs. Richard Ungaretti (Noren Woody). We also welcomed the return of Mrs. Thomas J. Hoffmann (Janet Van Wie Stanley), transferring her membership from the Michigan Society. On hand to enjoy a delightful afternoon of friendship, tipple and delightful canapés were about thirty Dames and candidates and two prospective members – Laurel Gray and Diane Stilwell Weinberg.
